GT 1990 safety transformer
Grothe bell and safety transformers are generally protected by a PTC, which switches off the transformer on the primary side in the event of a short circuit or overload. All transformers meet the highest environmental protection requirements, are tested in accordance with EN61558-2-6:2010 and are certified.
The transformer is ideal for continuous operation and can be installed in either an electrical or flat distribution board and is labelled with an ENEC mark. The additionally available surface mounting set for the transformer includes two cover flaps as well as mounting rails and material to achieve protection class IP20.
Note:
A higher output voltage is generated at low load or idle!
Depending on the selected output voltage, the secondary windings must be connected in series or parallel with cable bridges (see rating plate)
After a short circuit, recommission by briefly disconnecting the primary side from the mains (at least 1 minute).
