Our doorbell transformers are specially designed for use with doorbells, doorbells, chimes and door openers in residential areas where they are active for short periods of time. Unlike our other transformers, this special bell transformer does not have a PTC (positive temperature coefficient) and only has a fail-safe feature.
In the event of improper use and rising temperatures, which can ultimately lead to a fire hazard, the transformer's fail-safe protocol kicks in and short-circuits the device to prevent a possible fire, but this renders the transformer unusable and it must be replaced.
All our transformers fulfil the strictest environmental protection requirements and have been tested and certified in accordance with EN61558.
Note:
A higher output voltage occurs at low load or no-load operation!

Surface mounting set for two sub-units This mounting set allows you to surface-mount a transformer with a width of two sub-units (36 mm). As soon as this mounting set is attached to the transformer, the transformer is given a protection rating of IP20.
